An employee handbook is an essential communications tool that not only provides a clear and concise explanation of your company’s policies and procedures but also is necessary to promote consistency, communication, and compliance.

AIM HR Solutions offers four services for companies to take the stress out of remaining up-to-date and legally compliant by having us help you update or create the right handbook for your company.

Handbook Review Service:  If you have a current employee handbook,
but it has not been reviewed for 2 or 3 years, then this option is the one for you.

Our Handbook Review Service provides companies a cost-effective way to ensure federal and state compliance.  We’ll review your handbook for legal compliance, good business/HR practice, and employee readability. We then mark it up and send it back to you and arrange a telephone meeting to go over each page and make suggestions.

Please note that we do not rewrite any policy, but will attempt to provide you with solutions. We will, however, insert a mandated policy such as sexual harassment if it is not in the handbook, or if the policy in the book does not meet required legal standards.

Model Handbook:  If your handbook needs major revisions or has not been updated in 4 years, choose this option.

AIM HR Solutions maintains a model employee handbook that is compliant with all federal and Massachusetts laws and regulations. The Model Handbook contains a large number of policies that are either mandated by law or are common policies found in most employer handbooks.  Many of the policies offer a choice between 2 different versions, so you can use the one that works best for your company.  The model handbook is available as a Microsoft Word file and can be easily customized to your company.

Our Annual Handbook Subscription Service issues new or updated policies to subscribers whenever a change in legislation requires a change in your employee handbook.

We can never predict how many new or revised policies will be required each year based on changes to federal or state legislation.  However, our Annual Handbook Subscription Service is an easy and cost-effective way to update and maintain your employee handbook.

If your handbook needs significant revisions, has not been updated in 4 years and you have limited internal resources, this is the option for you.
