Governor’s Office Releases I-9 Audit Guidance

Wage and Hour Division Relaunches PAID Program
The U.S. Department of Labor has revived the Payroll Audit Independent Determination (PAID) program, helping employers resolve FLSA and FMLA violations quickly while ensuring employees receive owed wages and leave. Learn more here.
EAD Revocation Guidance for E-Verify Employers:
E-Verify employers are now responsible for tracking revoked Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) using the new Status Change Report, since revoked documents may still look valid and unexpired. Understanding how to identify and reverify impacted employees is critical to staying compliant with I-9 requirements.
