AIM HR Solutions is committed to delivering programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. We offer a variety of programs around this very important topic.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate Series – a Year of Understanding

The diversity awareness series is designed for front-line leadership and human resource professionals. Join us for this 9-class series and receive a certificate of completion.  Detailed course content can be found here.  Show your commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by signing up for the entire series or select individual classes. Classes include:

  • May 5 – Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Talent Management
  • May 26- Immigration and the Workplace – Understanding Visas, I-9s, E-Verify, and No-Match Letters
  • June 30 – Understanding Emerging Gender Diversity in the Workplace
  • Jul 28 or Aug 25 – Creating an Inclusive Work Environment
    (We will offer this program on two dates.  Participants can select either date.)
  • Sept 29 – Developing Inclusive Handbook Policies
  • Oct 27 – Pay Equity – Developing Compensation Strategies and Complying with MA Law
  • Nov – Developing an Inclusive Workspace – ADA considerations
  • Dec 15 – Managing Generational Diversity at Work

All classes are from 12:00 – 1:30 pm.

Unconscious Bias: Creating a Diverse and Inclusive Culture

This interactive program respectfully and directly explores sensitive, useful and important information with employees from different cultural or generational backgrounds. It goes beyond the cliché of “understanding” differences and offers realistic tips for effectively including and leveraging unique differences among employees to boost morale, engagement, and the bottom line. This program can be offered exclusively for your employees.

Learning Objectives

  • Distinguish between a diverse and an inclusive workforce
  • Increase awareness of your own cultural programming and unconscious bias
  • Discover commonalities among those who are seemingly different from you
  • Identify cultural influences on behavior in the workplace

Harassment/Discrimination Prevention Training

We offer two types of Harassment/Discrimination Prevention training sessions, one for individual contributors and one for supervisors/managers. The individual contributor session is 90 minutes in duration, while the management session is 2 hours in length.  You will also receive a recording of the training that can be shared with employees who are unable to attend the session.  This program can be offered exclusively for your employees. Details on the sessions are below. This program will review the applicable state and federal laws and offer practical information about how harassment and discrimination happen in the workplace as well as steps that can be taken to avoid these situations. Specific learning objectives include:
